At the advertised annual rates, five HubSpot Professional seats cost $6,900 in year one, including required onboarding. Five Zoho Professional seats cost $1,380 before tax. Those plan names do not mean the products do the same things.

Cost is not cash flow
These estimates cover subscription and required onboarding only. Onboarding is a one-time year-one charge. At the stated rate, five HubSpot Professional seats have a $5,400 annual subscription component, excluding future price changes. HubSpot Starter renewal is not verified, so $420 should not be carried forward as a renewal quote.
Annual rates may require payment for the year upfront. A monthly equivalent is not a right to cancel monthly. A mixed team may need different paid seat types, so the calculator does not validate a real mixed-seat order.
What changes the decision?
- If your team has only two users, HubSpot advertises free tools. Zoho advertises a free edition for up to three users. Free is not an option for the five-seat example.
- If price is the main constraint, start with the entry plans, not a Professional plan by name.
- If you need specific automation, reporting or integrations, check the exact limits in each vendor’s feature table before paying.
- HubSpot Professional is $100 per seat per month when paid monthly, with an annual commitment. Paying monthly does not make it month-to-month.
